PARTNER WITH KINGSS

Partnering with King Striking Series (KINGSS) is more than putting your logo on a fight card. It is an opportunity to promote your business while helping build the future of combat sports in Windsor-Essex and beyond.

KINGSS brings together athletes, coaches, gyms, families, spectators, businesses, and communities through professionally presented, sanctioned kickboxing events.

Through the KINGSS Combat Sports Foundation, our goal is to build partnerships that create value on both sides—giving businesses meaningful opportunities for promotion and community involvement while helping us create opportunities for athletes and grow combat sports.

SUPPORT LOCAL. SUPPORT CANADIAN.

KINGSS believes that strong events should also help build strong communities.

Whenever practical, we want to work with Windsor-Essex, Ontario, and Canadian businesses, suppliers, products, and service providers.

From event production and apparel to food and beverage, accommodations, trades, equipment, professional services, photography, security, and countless other areas involved in producing an event, we want Canadian businesses to have an opportunity to grow alongside KINGSS.

Our philosophy is simple:

When local businesses support KINGSS, KINGSS should support them in return.

That means recognizing our partners, promoting their businesses, introducing them to our audience, and looking for opportunities to incorporate their products and services into what we do.

PROMOTE YOUR BUSINESS. SUPPORT THE SPORT.

A KINGSS partnership combines commercial promotion with meaningful community involvement.

Depending on the partnership, businesses may receive exposure through opportunities such as event signage, social media, the KINGSS website, promotional materials, livestream or broadcast placement where applicable, event announcements, branded content, and recognition surrounding KINGSS events.

Rather than simply selling advertising space, we want to develop relationships with businesses whose products, services, and values make sense for our events and our audience.

Our partners help KINGSS grow.

We want KINGSS to help our partners grow too.

ADVERTISING THAT CAN WORK FOR YOUR BUSINESS

A KINGSS commercial partnership can provide businesses with another important benefit: the cost may be treated as an advertising or promotional business expense when it qualifies under Canadian tax rules.

The Canada Revenue Agency recognizes advertising as a deductible business expense. This means an eligible KINGSS advertising or sponsorship arrangement may provide a business with promotional exposure while also being treated as a business advertising expense for tax purposes.

KINGSS can provide businesses with documentation relating to their partnership and the advertising or promotional benefits being provided.

Individual circumstances can differ, so businesses should retain their invoices and partnership documentation and confirm the appropriate tax treatment with their accountant or tax professional.

This is separate from a charitable donation. KINGSS Combat Sports Foundation is a non-profit organization. Non-profit status alone does not provide the ability to issue official charitable donation receipts.

YOUR PARTNERSHIP HELPS CREATE OPPORTUNITIES

Every KINGSS event requires much more than a ring and two athletes.

Sanctioning, officials, venues, production, equipment, photography, video, security, promotion, medical and safety requirements, and the many other components involved in producing an event all require resources and support.

Our partners help make those opportunities possible.

Their involvement helps us create sanctioned competition where developing athletes can gain meaningful experience and continue progressing through the sport.

For some athletes, KINGSS may be their first opportunity to compete locally. Others may use those experiences as part of a much larger competitive journey toward provincial, national, and international competition.

Supporting KINGSS means supporting the people taking those next steps.

MORE THAN ATHLETES

Developing combat sports requires developing an entire sporting ecosystem.

That includes fighters, but it also includes coaches, referees, judges, officials, volunteers, event staff, organizers, and future leaders within the sport.

Through KINGSS events and the KINGSS Combat Sports Foundation, we want to create opportunities for people throughout that ecosystem to gain experience, develop their skills, and progress.

Strong partnerships give us greater capacity to invest in those opportunities.

INVESTING IN WINDSOR-ESSEX

KINGSS events also bring people together in Windsor-Essex.

Athletes travelling to compete are often accompanied by coaches, teammates, family, and supporters. Events can generate activity for local accommodations, restaurants, transportation providers, venues, retailers, suppliers, and other businesses.

As KINGSS grows, we want that growth to benefit the community that helped build it.

Our long-term vision is to help establish Windsor-Essex as a destination for high-quality combat sports competition while working with local partners to ensure that the economic and community benefits surrounding those events remain connected to the region.

A NON-PROFIT WITH A LONG-TERM MISSION

KINGSS is presented by the KINGSS Combat Sports Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to building sustainable pathways for combat sports.

Our work is intended to extend beyond individual fight nights.

We want to help develop athletes, referees, judges, officials, volunteers, events, partnerships, and infrastructure that strengthen combat sports locally and ultimately contribute to its development across Canada.

Partner support allows us to think beyond the next event and toward what can be built for the next generation.

WAYS TO PARTNER

There is no single way to become a KINGSS partner.

Partnerships can include event sponsorships, advertising partnerships, in-kind products or services, event suppliers, community partnerships, media partnerships, athlete-development initiatives, and longer-term strategic relationships.

We are particularly interested in working with Canadian businesses whose products or services can become genuinely integrated into KINGSS events.

Whether you are a small Windsor-Essex business, an established Canadian company, or an organization that shares our interest in sport and community development, we are interested in discussing what a meaningful partnership could look like.

LET’S BUILD SOMETHING TOGETHER

Your business gets an opportunity to be seen.

Our athletes get an opportunity to compete.

Our community gets an opportunity to grow.

That is the type of partnership KINGSS wants to build.

If your business or organization is interested in partnering with KINGSS and the KINGSS Combat Sports Foundation, we would be happy to discuss opportunities and develop a partnership that makes sense for both organizations.
